Attention:
All Students and Employees of the United International University (UIU)

With reference to the UIU’s Urgent Notice dated July 16, 2024, the following issues are being clarified in response to several queries received by UIU since yesterday:

1. As per directive of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh, and in line with the decision of the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the United International University (UIU) will remain closed until further order.
2. During this period, all classes, exams, including the mid-term exams originally scheduled to start from July 20, 2024, etc. will remain suspended. In other words, all academic activities of UIU will remain suspended until further order. As soon as UIU reopens, new dates for the mid-term exams and other exams, if any, will be announced.
3. The UIU Library and all the Study Rooms will remain closed during this period of closure of the university. The UIU Playfield and all other sports facilities will remain closed to all students and employees.
4. All administrative/faculty/program offices of UIU will also remain closed until the university reopens.
5. Student and Employee Transportation services have been suspended as well.
